Ipoh DimSum

This morning, my mum, my sister and I went to have our breakfast in FuShan Restaurant. For those who are good tracker of nice food around M'sia, I'm sure u know what's in FuShan...Yes, DIM SUM!!!

And for your additional information, the restaurant is usually--well, I guess should be constantly-- full. According to the tauke, some people even start queue up infront of the shop as early as 5 in the morning, just to eat their DIMSUM!!! How scary is that....
Well, we are not desperate for the dimsum, for god's sake...So, we just go there at about 7.30 am( okok...it's still quite early)...
So, here's some of the food...Erm, sorry for muslims..but some of them are not halal...=.=
This is the Polo Pao (has absolutely nothing to do with some of your favourite outfit brands), with slices of chicken and pine apple cubes in it, and baked it until it turns crispy brown, are quite tasty, but I dun find it any special...rating: 6/10
One of the most famous DimSum in da house: HaMai. It is actually fresh prawns wraped in dumpling skins, and braise until the dumpling skin turns a bit transparent. As in the process, the dumpling skin absorbs the abstract of the prawns, so we can actually taste the prawn just by eat the dumpling skin...Yummy! Rating: 8/10
Almost every chinese DimSum restaurant will serve this food: CheeCheongFun . It is actually some rice flour being grind into sheet-like-structure and again, steam it until it become semi-transparent. After that, some stuffing will be wrapped in it, sometimes pork... But this time, it is prawns...Rating: 6.5/10
Omg Omg Omg... I have to say, this is the dish of the day!!!! The food in this pic is YuMai, which is actually fish balls that is being fried. However, they managed to make such a simple dish into something really mouth-watering!!! The meat is toothsome, as it are made from fresh fish meats, and are fried until a really just-nice-level...oh ya, the chilli sauce provided also act as a catalyst to really boost up the taste of the fish balls...One word: GENG!!! Rating: 9.5/10
This is GaiPao, which means chicken pao...again, a nothing-special-but-product-of-FuShan food...I think this will be the last time I order this.
Rating: 5.5/10
Erm erm...this is XiewMai , which is porks n prawns in wantan's skin. Quite okay...but I don't think my malay friend want to listen to my explaination on the taste of the food...So, other friends, if you wanna know how it taste, come to FuShan!!! Rating: 7.5/10
Well well well, there's lots more picture of the food...but i'm too lazy to upload them...So, if u r interested to see them, come IPOH!!!
